Privacy policy

This policy covers this website and the AntAI Payroll app. In short: the website does not track you, and the app keeps your payroll data on your own PC.
1. This website
- The website sets no cookies.
- It uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts.
- It loads nothing from other websites: no external fonts, scripts or images.
- The download page reads a small file from this site (
releases/latest.json) to show the latest version. Nothing about you is sent in that request. - Like any website, the server that hosts it may keep standard technical logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) to keep the site running and secure. 2. The AntAI Payroll app
Your payroll and employee data stays on your PC, in an encrypted database. We never receive employee records, salaries, PAN, bank details, your database, your key file, passwords or your recovery key. We cannot read your payroll data.
The app goes online only for the following:
Licence checks
Every licence call sends:
- an install ID (a random number made when the app is installed)
- a machine hash (a one-way code made from your Windows machine ID; the ID itself never leaves the PC)
- the app version
- the Windows computer name
Some calls send a little more:

The licence service also sees your network (IP) address, as any internet service does. It keeps it with records of trial starts, activations and access requests.
Update checks
The app checks for updates when it starts and when you use Settings > Updates. The check only downloads the small release file. The request names the app and its version (for example "AntAIPayroll/1.3.0") and, as with any web request, the server sees your IP address. No company, employee or payroll data is sent. You can turn the check at start-up off in Settings > Updates.
3. E-mail to us
If you e-mail sales or support, we use what you send only to answer you and, if you buy, to manage your subscription and invoices. Please do not send salary data, PAN, bank details or your recovery key.
4. Your employees' data
Your company decides what employee data goes into AntAI Payroll and how it is used. You are responsible for it under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. AntAI does not process it, because it never reaches us.
5. Why we keep licence data, and for how long
We use licence data only to run trials, activate PCs, stop trial misuse and answer your requests. We do not sell it or share it for marketing. [Retention period and hosting details: to be filled by AntAI]
6. Your rights and contact
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Write to support@antaipayroll.in.
